Probably! In defence of writing memos.
I have little experience with slides except in school, but I can easily imagine how it leads to worse decisions on most complex things. It just gives the illusion of completeness when in fact it's designed to keep most of the details out.
I was also wondering ... how many people actually did work a lot with slides. Probably mostly employees in big companies?
Very likely. I'm lucky to always have been with small companies and then by myself. Certainly cuts down on office politics!
Writing good Memos is definately more challenging than preparing slides. So the idea is not for every organisation.
True. Also not for every decision!
